School Psychologist - Parksley, VA

You will focus on conducting evaluations, determining student eligibility, completing comprehensive reports, and offering insightful recommendations to help every student reach their full potential. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (state-specific credentials may apply)
- Specialist or doctoral degree in school psychology or related field
- Strong foundation in educational evaluations and eligibility determination
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear, concise report writing
- Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing school environments
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting psycho-educational assessments and interpreting data for eligibility decisions
- Writing detailed evaluation reports and recommendations
- Participating in IEP/eligibility meetings as a vital team member
- Consulting with teachers, parents, and staff to support student needs
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in alignment with school policy
- Traveling between assigned school sites to provide services
