Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, and provides a hybrid work model—enabling a balance of three days working onsite with face-to-face engagement and two days working remotely from your preferred location. Make a lasting impact across a primary, elementary, and high school setting, working collaboratively with educators and families.
Ideal Background & Experience:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school psychology or related educational settings
- Skilled at conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment data
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development across age groups
- Effective written and verbal communicator, able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Tech savvy with the capability to handle virtual assessments and teletherapy as needed
- Adaptability and organizational skills to support students in both onsite and remote capacities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group counseling for students from preschool to high school
- Conduct psychological assessments, interpret results, and make tailored recommendations
- Support early intervention, special education, and mental health initiatives
- Provide crisis response, as well as consult with teachers and caregivers on interventions and supports
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, helping to develop and monitor student plans
- Maintain documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Foster positive, confidential relationships with students, families, and staff
