Make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 school year in a fulfilling contract opportunity for experienced School Psychologists. This is an onsite-only role, offering two openings with a flexible weekly schedule, serving a dynamic district near Pendleton, IN. As a trusted resource district-wide, you’ll collaborate with faculty, students, and families to help foster students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success.
Your expertise will contribute to a nurturing educational environment, as you assess student needs, provide crucial interventions, and participate in the design and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or license (Indiana or eligible for reciprocity)
- Experience working within K-12 public school settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to manage a flexible, district-wide caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators and families
- Solid organizational and time-management skills
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-12 students
- Offer individual and group counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Support development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies supporting student achievement and well-being
- Maintain accurate, timely records, and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to professional development initiatives
