Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid New York State School Psychologist Certification required
- Experience conducting initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
- Strong counseling and psychological testing skills
- Ability to manage a K-12 caseload effectively
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply—language skills are a plus
- Must be available for onsite work only
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students as needed
- Deliver individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and academic growth
- Administer age-appropriate psychological assessments and interpret results
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective MTSS strategies
- Document all services, evaluations, and interventions in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Help foster a safe and positive school climate across diverse grade levels
