What We’re Looking For:
- Hold, or be eligible for, a Colorado Department of Education Special Services Providers License with a School Psychologist K-12 endorsement.
- Completed a specialist-level program with at least 60 graduate-level semester hours or a doctoral program in school psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
- Practical experience with psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, interpreting assessment data, and developing tailored intervention strategies.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools for reporting and documentation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and district fingerprinting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Interpret and summarize assessment results, preparing detailed written reports in a timely manner for IEP meetings.
- Regularly confer with teachers, students, and parents to recommend adaptations in classroom environments and curricula.
- Participate proactively in pre-referral and post-placement meetings, staff sessions, and inter-agency collaborations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential case records and support the continual improvement of student education plans.
