This full-time contract position offers you the opportunity to work onsite in either elementary (K-5) or junior high (6-8) settings for the upcoming academic year, following a 187-day calendar starting July 27, 2026. Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid license from the Colorado Department of Education as a School Psychologist
- Preferably possess two or more years of experience (highly valued, but not required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- In-depth knowledge of student assessments, FBAs, and behavioral intervention planning
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments to determine IEP eligibility
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create individualized behavior intervention plans
- Facilitate evaluation meetings with staff and families while ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements
- Offer expert consultation to educators, parents, and students to support academic and behavioral success
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
