Step into a rewarding contract role providing vital support as a School Psychologist for a high school caseload. This full-time opportunity is based onsite, with a schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, starting August 24, 2026, and concluding June 10, 2027. You'll collaborate closely with students, faculty, and families to drive meaningful educational outcomes in an engaging urban high school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania school psychologist certification or licensure.
- Proven experience working within school settings, with high school students preferred.
- In-depth understanding of conducting evaluations and assessments.
- Demonstrated success supporting diverse populations, especially in urban communities.
- Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to the start date.
- Comfortable adhering to an onsite, in-person work model with no alternative scheduling options.
- Reliable transportation to and from the school location.
- Confident, professional, and adaptable with district policies and urban school culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, functional assessments, and participate actively in IEP meetings for high school students.
- Develop strategies for academic, social, and emotional support in collaboration with teaching staff and families.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and district requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to students, staff, and families.
