This contract position as a School Psychologist offers an opportunity to make a significant impact in an educational setting near Philadelphia, PA. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, and is full-time (35 hours per week) on-site. Exact hours and caseload will be determined prior to your start.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania (PA) is required
- Experience with school-based psychological assessments and evaluations
- Strong understanding of both initial and triennial evaluation processes
- Ability to facilitate PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings effectively
- Skilled in providing individual and group counseling to students
- Collaborative mindset for working with teachers, staff, parents, and administrators
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations—including both initial and triennial assessments—to support students’ educational programs
- Deliver targeted individual and small group counseling services, promoting student well-being and addressing academic or behavioral concerns
- Participate in and facilitate PPT meetings to develop, review, and revise students’ educational plans as needed
- Work collaboratively with educational staff and families to recommend evidence-based interventions and accommodations
- Maintain detailed documentation following school and district protocols
