Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for credentialing)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Thorough understanding of psycho-educational testing, report writing, and special education processes
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as necessary
  • Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other multidisciplinary meetings
  • Offer training and consultation to school staff regarding effective practices and student support
