Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for credentialing)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Thorough understanding of psycho-educational testing, report writing, and special education processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as necessary
- Support the implementation of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other multidisciplinary meetings
- Offer training and consultation to school staff regarding effective practices and student support
