School Psychologist - Piscataway, NJ

You'll be instrumental in collaborating with faculty and families to ensure that every student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) is implemented effectively. Working within regular school hours, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, your role will include participation in multidisciplinary team meetings and conducting student evaluations as needed. This contract runs from September 1 through December 23, 2026, offering you the chance to positively impact students at a pivotal time in their development.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting students within 6-8th grade preferred
- Strong assessment, report writing, and counseling skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations concerning IEPs and special education
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure IEP compliance through monitoring and consultation
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students and staff
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team and IEP meetings
- Maintain detailed documentation and clear communication with stakeholders
- Partner with educators and families to foster student growth
