School Psychologist in Placitas, NM

Qualifications:
- Current or eligibility to obtain a New Mexico RLD License for School Psychology
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience working with diverse student populations at both elementary and secondary school levels
- Knowledge of evaluation techniques, standardized assessments, and social-emotional interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, behavioral observations, and functional behavior assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies and support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to goal development and student progress monitoring
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support crisis intervention and provide consultation on mental health issues within the school community
