School Psychologist in Plainfield, IL

Qualifications:
- Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure (required)
- Professional Educator License (PEL) in good standing
- Experience working as a School Psychologist within educational settings
- Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing expertise in eligibility and service recommendations
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective interventions and supports for students
- Help design district-wide programs promoting social-emotional wellness
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
