Two opportunities are available, serving either a single site or as an itinerant psychologist across multiple schools. This role focuses on collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to foster student success and well-being.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Psychology for K-12.
- Earned a Master's degree in School Psychology.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
- Experience working within school-based teams and with diverse student populations is beneficial.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for eligibility and program planning.
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement effective interventions.
- Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiatives.
- Provide direct services to students, including counseling and behavioral interventions.
- Travel between schools within the district may be necessary for the itinerant position.
- Contribute actively to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and documentation.
- Advocate for inclusive practices and student-centered approaches.
Position Details:
- Full-time contract: 37.5 hours per week.
- School year assignment: August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
- Assignments available as a single school site or covering multiple schools as an itinerant psychologist.
- Primarily on-site; remote or hybrid work is not anticipated for these positions.
