Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a school psychologist in Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master’s degree or higher in psychology, education, or a related field

- Ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Current knowledge of best practices in school psychology and relevant legal standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for students to determine needs and eligibility for special services
- Participate in student support teams and help create effective intervention plans
- Work closely with educators, administrators, and families to advocate for student success
- Deliver counseling services to students individually and in groups as appropriate
- Support crisis intervention and provide ongoing consultation to staff around student mental health and behavior
- Document and report findings in compliance with district and state guidelines
