School Psychologist | Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Make a meaningful impact working as a full-time School Psychologist in a dynamic K–12 setting near Portsmouth, NH. This contract opportunity starts August 7th and runs through June 21st, offering a rewarding experience supporting students across all grade levels. You’ll be part of a collaborative psychology team, where you’ll contribute to student success and benefit from the support of five other experienced school psychologists.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience in school-based psychological assessment and direct student support
- Proficient with evaluations, IEPs, re-evaluations, initials, and associated school psychology practices
- Comfortable working with students in grades K–12; we’re happy to accommodate a preferred grade range if possible
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and initial assessments
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and assist in developing educational plans
- Provide consultation services and support to students, parents, teachers, and administrators
- Help implement interventions and strategies to address students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate closely with a team of five other school psychologists to ensure consistent support district-wide
