Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Strong knowledge of Special Education processes, including IEP development and participation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and consultation skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents
- Experience with crisis intervention and providing counseling services to students is highly valued
- Dedication to fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret assessment data, and develop individualized recommendations for student support
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Provide direct counseling services to students, as needed
- Support crisis intervention efforts and offer guidance during challenging situations
- Deliver in-service trainings and workshops for staff on topics related to student well-being and mental health
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with all regulations
