School Psychologist - Pueblo, Colorado

An exciting contract opportunity is available for licensed school psychologists passionate about supporting students in achieving their fullest potential. This position, based near Pueblo, CO, is set to begin on July 27, 2026, and follows a 187-day school calendar. With three full-time openings, professionals will have the chance to work with either elementary students (grades K-5) or junior high students (grades 6-8) in an onsite capacity.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active school psychologist licensure from the Colorado Department of Education
- Minimum of two years’ experience preferred in a K-12 educational setting
- Strong background in administering student testing for IEP eligibility
- Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing comprehensive behavior intervention plans
- Effective facilitation of evaluation meetings involving multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct student assessments and interpret results for individualized education program (IEP) eligibility
- Complete FBAs and develop targeted behavior plans tailored to student needs
- Facilitate and lead evaluation meetings, ensuring strong communication among all school stakeholders
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultative support to school staff regarding best practices in student behavioral and academic interventions
