You’ll work with a diverse student body, collaborating with educators and families to ensure well-rounded support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological evaluations (approx. 40 per year) for students in grades K-5
- Complete approximately 20 record reviews over the academic year
- Consult with staff and participate in pre-referral or MTSS meetings, with the flexibility to do so virtually
- Provide professional recommendations and clear communication to both faculty and families
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and support IEPs and student plans
Qualifications and Background:
- Pennsylvania Educator Certificate required (School Psychologist)
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Expertise in administering and interpreting cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
- Ability to maintain detailed records and manage sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal skills and a flexible, collaborative approach to working within school teams
- Comfort with virtual meeting platforms for remote participation as needed
