This adaptable position, available full-time or part-time, starts September 16th and involves serving approximately 650 students across 1.5 elementary schools. In this role, your expertise as a School Psychologist will help shape positive educational experiences for young learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state-appropriate)
- Previous experience in K-12 or elementary school settings preferred
- Strong background in psychoeducational testing, behavioral assessments, and report writing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and advocating for student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 40 testing evaluations and about 20 record reviews throughout the assignment
- Engage in assessment, consultation, and intervention services to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determination processes
- Work closely with teachers, families, and administrators to develop and monitor support plans
- Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state policies
- Provide guidance and recommendations for classroom interventions and student accommodations
