Key Qualifications:
- Valid Nevada school psychologist license (NV School Psych)
- Experience with middle and elementary-aged students is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle a varied caseload and develop effective intervention plans
- Comfortable with a busy, engaging K-8 environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and eligibility determinations
- Develop and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and related behavioral interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Offer counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance standards within the district
- Serve as a resource for school staff on matters of mental health, learning, and behavior
Additional Details:
- Position spans the duration of the academic year, beginning immediately and ending on 7/31/26
- Full-time hours (35-37.5 hours per week)
- Assigned to both a middle school and an elementary school
