Step into a vital role supporting elementary students for the Fall Semester! This is a full-time contract position, providing school psychology services to K-5 students. You’ll be based in a collaborative educational environment, working from late August to mid-December. The focus will be on fostering student well-being and supporting academic and behavioral success within an inclusive school community.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold or be open to obtaining current Washington State Psychologist License/Certification
- Experience or strong interest in K-5/elementary populations
- Demonstrated ability to perform psychological assessments and create individualized plans
- Proven communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Confidence in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Ready and willing to provide references as part of the district’s process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to elementary students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation
- Develop and implement intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to promote positive educational outcomes
- Contribute findings and recommendations within IEP and school support meetings
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding mental health, behavior management, and learning support
- Maintain clear, confidential records and uphold all professional standards
