Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting
- Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and teletherapy platforms
- Strong knowledge of IEP and special education processes
- Exceptional communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school teams in a remote environment
- 1099 contract status (independent contractor)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention meetings via video conferencing
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
- Provide virtual counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis response services as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely communication according to school protocols
- Support a positive and inclusive virtual learning atmosphere
