This full-time contract opportunity as a School Psychologist offers a chance to work collaboratively with educators, families, and staff to promote academic and social-emotional success for students of all ages.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico)
- Experience with assessments, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Skilled in counseling, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational evaluation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations and advocating for inclusive education environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students referred for evaluation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective IEPs and intervention strategies
- Provide individual and group counseling services for students experiencing academic, behavioral, or emotional challenges
- Serve as a resource to educators, parents, and administrators regarding learning, development, and mental health needs
- Participate actively in response-to-intervention (RTI) processes and crisis response as needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
