Qualifications & Experience:
- Active School Psychologist certification or license (state-specific requirements must be met).
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or related field.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results for students.
- Develop and recommend appropriate interventions and support plans in partnership with educators and families.
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions as needed.
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral management initiatives.
- Foster a safe, supportive learning environment school-wide.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
