Qualifications & Background:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
- Familiarity with psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and intervention strategies
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and consultation skills with both students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Serve as a vital member of multidisciplinary teams, collaborating closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Deliver counseling sessions, crisis intervention, and preventative mental health services
- Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and participate in problem-solving teams
- Provide training and resources to staff and caregivers to address various student needs
