Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting educational, cognitive, behavioral, and socio-emotional assessments
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and crisis intervention
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Compassionate and culturally responsive approach to supporting diverse populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies and interventions
- Support the creation, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide counseling and guidance for students both individually and in small groups
- Participate in problem-solving teams and collaborate in data-driven decision-making
- Deliver staff training and resources on relevant mental health topics
- Help cultivate a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
