Beginning August 10th, 2026 and continuing through June 4th, 2027, you will be working closely with a diverse student population, fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility in Illinois
- Experience in K-8 school settings is preferred
- Proficient in administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments
- Knowledge of Response to Intervention (RTI) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and interpret results
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to address learning and behavioral concerns
- Participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Support crisis intervention and help develop prevention strategies
- Provide direct and indirect counseling to students
- Collaborate in the development of effective behavioral management plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ethical standards
