Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and active School Psychologist certification for the state of Georgia
- Previous experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, and collaboration within educational settings
- Understanding of special education processes, including evaluation, re-evaluation, and IEP participation
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
What You'll Do:
- Complete psychoeducational evaluations and conduct testing onsite as needed
- Provide consultation and support services to staff and families in a hybrid format
- Participate actively in special education meetings, including eligibility and IEP sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports for a caseload of approximately 80 students
- Deliver direct and indirect student interventions to support learning, behavior, and social-emotional needs
- Work across multiple grade levels (K-12), adapting approaches to meet diverse needs
