Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Demonstrated skills in conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing comprehensive reports
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple teams and districts
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations to support student placement and educational planning
- Develop and implement behavior intervention strategies in collaboration with support staff
- Participate in MTSS meetings, contributing expertise on interventions and student progress monitoring
- Support high need special education case management, ensuring IEP development and compliance
- Consult regularly with teachers, counselors, and administrative teams to address student needs
- Foster family engagement by communicating findings and recommendations in an understandable and supportive manner
