This is an onsite, contract opportunity serving a high school caseload of approximately 30 students. The position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule with hours from 7:30AM to 3:00PM.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois School Psychologist licensure is required.
- Experience working in a high school setting is strongly preferred.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and interpret assessment data.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Onsite presence is essential—remote work is not an option for this role.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services tailored to high school students.
- Conduct individual student assessments and share findings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and academic support plans.
- Offer crisis intervention and collaborate with staff to address urgent student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and communicate effectively with parents and educators.
