School Psychologist in Saint Helens, OR

Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid credential/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing recommendations for individualized educational plans (IEPs) or 504 plans
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills with students, educators, and families
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Provide counseling, consultation, and intervention services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop strategies for student success
- Support the RTI/MTSS process and involvement in crisis intervention if needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate actively in meetings related to IEP and eligibility determination
- Foster an inclusive school climate, promoting mental health and wellbeing
