Step into an impactful role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist in the Saint Louis, MO area. This is a full-time, on-site contract position with an immediate start, extending through late May 2027. You’ll primarily serve two schools, likely within St. Louis and Jennings, offering vital services focused on Child Find and special education evaluations.
As a valued resource for the district, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams, positively shaping student outcomes through specialized assessments and teamwork.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid and active Missouri Department of Education certification in school psychology.
- Strong background in conducting special education evaluations, with knowledge of Child Find procedures.
- Experience supporting a K-12 population is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a rotating caseload (averaging 8-10 concurrent cases; approx. 32 cases per full academic year).
- Capacity to travel locally onsite to assigned campuses.
- Must successfully complete district-mandated fingerprinting with verifiable TCN number.
- Required to sign and submit a district technology agreement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for K-12 students in two school settings.
- Participate in the special education evaluation process and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Collaborate with school staff, educators, and families to support intervention strategies.
- Maintain confidential documentation and meet strict district and state timelines.
- Provide consultative services to support students’ academic, social, and behavioral needs.
