Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or a related field is required
- Valid Minnesota (MN) school psychologist licensure
- Experience working at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels preferred
- Strong communication, consultation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of current assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for students at various grade levels
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Participate in student support teams and IEP meetings, providing expertise on psychoeducational evaluation, behavioral interventions, and progress monitoring
- Deliver crisis intervention, counseling, and mental health services as needed
- Support district initiatives focused on improving school climate and student well-being
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all district, state, and federal guidelines
