Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) Tier 3 or Tier 4 license in School Psychology—required
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited program
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills in educational settings
- Proven ability to write effective and practical evaluation reports
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with special education compliance, state regulations, and individualized education planning
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to determine students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and IEP teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom interventions and support strategies
- Deliver direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, offering guidance on best practices and data-driven decisions
- Maintain accurate records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to all regulatory guidelines
