Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time School Psychologist to join our school-based team at our Mt. Pleasant site in San Jose, California. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified School Psychologist looking for a flexible, part-time schedule while making a meaningful impact on students and their educational success.
The School Psychologist will provide school-based psychological services, including student evaluations, initial assessments, Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs), and related support services. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and committed to helping students thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students.
- Complete initial evaluations and assessments as needed.
- Develop and support Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Participate in student support and intervention planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals.
- Provide recommendations based on assessment results and student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports.
- Support compliance with applicable school-based assessment and special education requirements.
- Provide additional school psychology services as needed.
Schedule & Flexibility
This position is approximately 20 hours per week, with flexibility regarding the specific days and times worked, provided the schedule falls within school hours.

Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Appropriate School Psychologist credential, certification, or authorization to practice in California.
- Experience conducting student evaluations and assessments preferred.
- Experience with BIPs, behavioral assessment, and school-based services preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to supporting students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
