Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and current School Psychologist credential
- Previous experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychoeducational assessments, interpreting results, and writing comprehensive reports
- Strong background in counseling techniques and creating individualized interventions
- Able to consult with teachers, parents, and support teams to develop students’ IEPs and behavioral plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions for high school students
- Collaborate with educators and families to provide tailored interventions and strategies
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed across the district
- Assist with school-wide initiatives promoting mental health and academic achievement
- Maintain detailed records and participate in meetings with multi-disciplinary teams
