Key Qualifications:
- Hold a Master’s degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Valid, active Minnesota licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, and/or high school level
- Comprehensive understanding of special education procedures, assessments, and interventions
- Strong communication and consultation skills with colleagues, parents, and administration
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a flexible caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results for students across multiple grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings, student support teams, and multidisciplinary problem-solving groups
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop effective strategies for student growth and well-being
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services and crisis support as needed
- Deliver consultative guidance to staff and families regarding learning, behavior, and social-emotional needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to state and district policies
