Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification/license is required
- Experience conducting onsite psychological assessments within a school environment
- Strong understanding of special education compliance, eligibility, and processes
- Ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and consult with multidisciplinary teams
- Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate compliance deadlines and school needs
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and respecting confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive onsite psychological testing and assessments for students K–12
- Develop and interpret evaluation reports and provide recommendations for individualized education planning
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and social-emotional well-being
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, providing expertise on student progress and intervention strategies
- Assist in crisis response, behavioral intervention, and solution-focused counseling as needed
- Ensure timely completion of reports and assessments to meet compliance dates
