Your expertise will be vital in problem-solving processes and active participation in the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams. In addition to daily responsibilities, you’ll manage IEP evaluations and deliver tailored services, ensuring that all students’ diverse needs are met.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met).
- Prior experience in a K-5 school setting is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of IEP evaluation procedures and special education services.
- Ability to participate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
- Skilled communicator adept at fostering relationships with staff, students, and families.
- Commitment to being onsite.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and lead IEP evaluations for students across K-5.
- Provide direct and consultative services, including behavioral intervention and crisis support.
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, and related service providers within the problem-solving and intervention teams.
- Support the Building Crisis Team, contributing to the overall safety and wellbeing of students.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school and district standards.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, contract position
- 37.5 hours per week
- School year: July 30th to June 2nd
