Make a meaningful impact supporting the mental health and educational success of students in a vibrant Houston-area district during the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, on-site position invites experienced School Psychologists who thrive in a dynamic, school-based environment and are committed to serving either the South or West regions of Houston across approximately five campuses.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist credential or licensure with up-to-date documentation
- Demonstrated school-based psychology experience
- Willingness to work on-site (some hybrid report writing from home may be possible)
- Ability to provide a redacted report for submission
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours/week)
- Reliable transportation for travel between campuses
- Willingness and ability to complete and pay for district-required fingerprinting within three days of contract signing
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and reports for students across assigned campuses
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support students’ academic and emotional wellbeing
- Deliver direct counseling, crisis intervention, and intervention planning
- Interpret assessment outcomes and provide informed recommendations for individualized education plans
- Assist in the implementation of district-wide initiatives focused on mental health and student support
