Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current NC School Psychologist License
- Previous experience with K-12 populations preferred
- Skillful in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Ability to provide consultation, interventions, and occasional counseling
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive school culture
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological testing, evaluations, and re-evaluations for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement student support strategies
- Offer occasional individual or group counseling as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Support positive mental health and wellness initiatives across the school
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
