Exciting opportunity for a dedicated School Psychologist who appreciates variety in their day-to-day schedule and thrives in a dynamic educational setting. This full-time, onsite contract assignment runs from August 18, 2026, to May 26, 2027, serving students across kindergarten through 12th grade. You’ll be an essential part of helping students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally by leading evaluations, reevaluations, and assessments within a supportive team environment.
What You Bring:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license (required)
- Experience in school settings, evaluating and assessing K-12 students
- Familiarity with itinerant roles and varying caseloads
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaborative skills
- Bilingual ability is a plus, but not mandatory
- Organized and adaptable to changing school environments and student needs
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations of students
- Interpret assessment results and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help shape IEPs and intervention plans
- Facilitate communication among staff, families, and students regarding assessment outcomes, recommendations, and next steps
- Support student success by participating in response-to-intervention and special education initiatives
- Deliver professional insight to help educators and families address students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Travel between school sites within the district as an itinerant specialist
