Responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to create safe, inclusive learning environments
- Providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling as needed
- Offering consultation and advocacy to support positive student outcomes
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and supporting school-wide initiatives
- Delivering professional development and resources to staff regarding student mental wellness
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Current School Psychologist certification/license (state requirements must be met)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12th grade populations in educational settings
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and developing behavioral interventions
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and families
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered approach to practice
