This opportunity offers collaboration with a dedicated team, the ability to serve multiple schools, and the chance to work with a diverse caseload of K–12 students.
In this role, you will work full-time (40 hours per week), utilizing your expertise to assess, advocate, and create tailored support plans to foster students’ academic and emotional development. The district offers additional earning potential, including up to $5,000 as a signing bonus, retention stipend, and a hard-to-fill position stipend, as well as $5,000 for bilingual candidates and $3,000 for lead psychologists. The base salary ranges from $71,000 to $105,000.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Valid Arizona Psychologist License.
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card (required prior to start).
- Experience working as a School Psychologist, ideally in a school setting.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple schools.
- Strong communication, assessment, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with best practices for supporting K–12 student populations.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide targeted interventions.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and allied professionals.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide crisis intervention when needed.
- Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with district policies.
