Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff
- Solid understanding of assessment tools and intervention strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to identify student needs
- Interpret assessment results for educational planning
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and help develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
- Collaborate with teachers and families to design and implement appropriate interventions
- Offer consultation and professional development to school staff as needed
