Step into a rewarding contract position supporting school-aged students as a valued psychological services provider. In this dynamic role, you’ll support non-public students through evaluations, re-evaluation reports (ER/RRs), and contribute to a small caseload of initial evaluations for students in alternative education settings. You’ll work closely with school teams, ensuring students receive timely interventions and support.
Flexibility is key: This position offers a part-time schedule of 2-3 days per week for the Extended School Year (ESY) through 7/31, with opportunities to renew for the next school year and increase hours up to 37.5 per week. If you thrive on variety and meaningful impact, you’ll enjoy collaborating with districts and stepping in to lend your expertise where it’s needed most.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with school-aged and non-public student populations is preferred
- Familiarity with conducting and writing ERs and RRs
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt to different educational settings, including alternative education
- Efficient and organized with excellent time-management
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluation reports for students referred by the district
- Provide support services as requested across local school districts
- Collaborate with staff and families to develop effective plans for student growth
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for compliance
- Offer crisis consultation and intervention support as needed
