Job Description
A school district in Little Falls, Minnesota is seeking a qualified Virtual School Psychologist for a full‑time, school‑based contract. This remote position serves K–12 students and focuses on providing virtual assessment, consultation, and intervention services to support academic achievement and social‑emotional development. Candidates with experience delivering teletherapy and virtual school psychology services are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual psychoeducational assessments and evaluations for K–12 students
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports
- Participate remotely in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health needs
- Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide recommendations for academic, behavioral, and social‑emotional interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize secure telepractice platforms and technology to deliver effective virtual services
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota School Psychologist license/certification required
- Previous experience providing virtual or telepractice services preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and district clearances
- Reliable high‑speed internet and access to appropriate technology required
- Licensing and credentialing support may be available for eligible candidates
Education
- Master’s degree, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Experience
- Prior school‑based experience preferred
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in special education processes preferred
- Experience with virtual assessment platforms and telepractice services strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong assessment, data interpretation, and report‑writing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with virtual meeting and teletherapy platforms
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Work Hours
- Monday–Friday
- School‑day schedule
- Approximately 37–40 hours per week
