Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in California
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Solid understanding of behavioral, psychological, and educational assessment tools
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt and provide support in a dynamic and diverse school environment
- Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessment tools and techniques
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
- Provide consultation and guidance to teachers, staff, and parents to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommendations
- Deliver counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and state requirements
- Assist in developing programs and strategies to improve students' well-being and school climate
