- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional recommendations
- Develop and support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Deliver direct counseling and interventions to students, individually and in groups
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation to meet school and compliance requirements
