Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification or eligibility for School Psychologist credential
- Experience with psychological assessments, interventions, and behavior management in a school setting
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, particularly with young children
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads (specific caseload details will be provided soon)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement interventions for students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans in coordination with multi-disciplinary teams
- Provide guidance and counseling for students, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and special education staff to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and comply with federal, state, and local regulations
