School Psychologist | Tolleson, Arizona
As a School Psychologist serving K-8th grade students onsite at a single location, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the educational and emotional development of students. This full-time opportunity is available as either a permanent or contract placement, with a manageable evaluation caseload designed for greater work-life balance and student impact. With four openings and a robust support system, you’ll work closely with educators, families, and a team of professionals committed to student achievement.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience with K-8th populations preferred
- Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and consult effectively
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Bilingual skills are highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention strategies, and support students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to promote a positive school climate
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral consultation services as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with ethical and legal guidelines
