Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or eligibility for School Psychologist credentials
- Experience working with K-12 student populations (internships or previous employment)
- Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices and supporting diverse learners
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultative support for students across several schools
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to foster positive and inclusive environments
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
